This holiday season will look a little different. Many events will be taking place virtually, but one thing remains the same: the resilience, creativity and innovation of Charlotte-Mecklenburg’s cultural community.

CSO Healing Hands: Sounds of the Season Community Concert

Mint to Move Cultural Dance Night celebrates el Día de las Velitas (Day of Little Candles), a Colombian tradition that marks the beginning of the Christmas season. Not even a pandemic can put a damper on Charlotte’s hometown favorite holiday tradition as the 66th Annual Singing Christmas Tree goes virtual for 2020! There’s nothing ho hum about this hour-long spectacular as we put the HO HO HO in HOME for the HOLIDAYS! Take a virtual sleigh ride with Artistic Director, Peter Leo, and the MainStage Chorus as they sing their way through holiday favorites including a newly commissioned arrangement of Silent Night. And joining in the fun again this year are the Grey Seal Puppets, the Miller Street Dance Academy, and special guests like the Caroline Keller Band! We’re even hoping the big guy himself stops by our virtual home for a visit.


A Christmas Carol – At Home On Demand

Theatre Charlotte’s holiday tradition for 14 years is back. The spirits gradually warm old Scrooge’s heart, as well as ours. Enjoy this full production recorded live on stage and streamed to you on demand at home.
