Why This Matters: “Spiral Odyssey,” a sculpture by Richard Hunt, was installed in May at Romare Bearden Park in uptown Charlotte. Hunt, a contemporary of park namesake Romare Bearden, references Bearden’s work and arts activism in the public artwork.
