Cultural Field Trips
As part of the Blueprint for Charlotte-Mecklenburg’s Cultural Education Partnership, ASC, CMS and ASC Cultural Partners are collaborating to develop curriculum-oriented field trips that give K-12 students the opportunity to engage with the arts in relevant, meaningful ways.
North Carolina Wolf Trap
Through active engagement and collaboration with teaching artists in music, drama, and creative movement, early childhood professionals gain a hands-on understanding of the connection between developmentally appropriate performing arts experiences and the acceleration of children’s learning.
Studio 345 Journeys Program
The Studio 345 Journeys Program is a three-phase experience that includes local hikes and educational sessions, a trip to a National Park and opportunities for the students to advocate within their communities.
Studio 345 Summer Program
The Studio 345 Summer Program allows for rising 8th - 12th grade students in Charlotte-Mecklenburg to gain relevant arts-infused knowledge from our team of professional teaching artists and community partners.
Baby Artsplay!™ Residencies & Family-Based Classes
Baby Artsplay!™ classes demonstrate the important connection between the performing arts and infant/toddler development. Incorporating performing arts and other multi-sensory activities into a child’s daily routine increases engagement and improves learning.
