COVID-19: Organization Updates

The following organizations have announced closings, cancellations and postponements for their organization due to COVID-19.

Actor’s Theatre of Charlotte
Suspending all performances and events for 30 days. Read more.

Arts+
Suspending all upcoming in-person private lessons, group classes, workshops and events through March 29. Arts+ will work with individual instructors who may want to pursue online private lessons. Additionally, all in-school and outreach programs are suspended as well. Read more.

Bechtler Museum of Modern Art at Levine Center for the Arts
Closed to the public through March 31. All programs and events are canceled until further notice. Public programs and group tours scheduled through April 8 are canceled. Read more.

Blumenthal Performing Arts
Suspending all public events in its facilities March 14-April 12, 2020. Read more.

Charlotte Art League
Closed to the public through March 31. All programs and events are rescheduled or cancelled. Read more.

Charlotte Ballet
Charlotte Ballet Academy classes are postponed effective March 16-March 29.  All performances of Sleeping Beauty are postponed.  Read more.

Charlotte Museum of History
Closed until further notice. Read more.

Children’s Theatre of Charlotte

Davidson Community Players
25th Annual Putman County Spelling Bee and Madagascar is postponed. Read more.

Discovery Place Science
All Discovery Place museums are closed to the public through March 27.  Read more.

Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture at Levine Center for the Arts
Closed to the public until further notice. Read more.

Historic Latta Plantation
Temporarily closed to the public. Read more.

Historic Rosedale
Closed to the public beginning March 16 for two weeks. Read more.

JazzArts Charlotte
Postponing all public programs and educational programs for 30 days.

Levine Museum of the New South
Closed to the public through March 29.  Read more.

McColl Center for Art + Innovation
Closed to the public until further notice. All events and workshops taking place until April 11 are canceled. Read more.

Mint Museum (at Levine Center for the Arts & Randolph Rd.)
Closed to the public March 16-31. All programs during that time has been rescheduled or canceled. Read more.
