Ready to organize for the arts and culture? Join ASC for ARTS Day 2017 in Raleigh on March 29 to advocate for public funding for arts and arts education in North Carolina and meet one-on-one with legislators to speak about its impact in our community. ARTS Day is an opportunity to share your stories with policy makers and unite with other advocates to promote policy that sustains and grows public funding for the arts right before the legislative budget cycle.

ARTS Day – North Carolina’s Annual Conference of Art & Action – will be held March 28-29, 2017. ASC will be attending Wednesday, March 29, and invite you to come on the bus with us. Tickets for this day are $35 and include lunch. ASC will arrange transportation to and from the March 29 Legislative Visit Day in Raleigh. The bus will leave from Center City Charlotte at 5:30 a.m. and will return around 4:30 p.m.

Two-day tickets for ARTS Day are also available for $125, which includes the Conference Day and North Carolina Arts Council 50th Anniversary Gala on March 28, as well as Legislative Visit Day on March 29. Speakers, including ASC President Robert Bush, will present at the March 28 Conference on the impact of the arts in our state and what the future looks like for North Carolina’s cultural sector. We are happy to arrange registration for the two-day ticket. ASC will only provide transportation to and from Raleigh on Wednesday, March 29.
