Tuesday is Election Day.

Before you go to the polls to cast your vote, be sure you know where your candidate stands on matters important to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg cultural community.

In advance of the upcoming elections, the Arts & Science Council asked local candidates running for city, county and board of education offices to complete a cultural issues survey.

Candidates gave their opinions about public funding of cultural programs, and the role arts, science, history and heritage should play in our communities.
