Amy Tribble joins the Arts & Science Council as Vice President of Resource Development

The Arts & Science Council (ASC) has announced today that Amy Tribble will join the non-profit arts organization as its Vice President of Resource Development beginning February 14.  Tribble, who has over 15 years of fundraising experience, was previously the Director of Development for the Council for Children’s Rights.

In her new roleAmy_Tibble_-_web, Tribble will oversee the planning and execution of all contributed revenue activities and resources.  She will be responsible for ASC’s Annual Fund Drive as well as planned giving, endowment and various fundraising initiatives to support ASC and the cultural sector.

She is a Certified Fundraising Executive and is the current President of the Charlotte Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.  She is also a member of the inaugural class of the Institute for Philanthropic Leadership’s Leadership Gift School.

“We are thrilled to have Amy join ASC,” said ASC President Scott Provancher.  “The combination of her development career and demonstrated passion and commitment to the cultural sector makes her a unique and strong addition to our organization.”

Working on behalf of the cultural sector is not new for Tribble.  Prior to working in development, she worked at the Mint Museum as a Docent Coordinator, Levine Museum of the New South as Curator of Education and Programs, The Penland Place as Gallery Manager and was an adjunct part-time Art History instructor at Winthrop University, Queens University of Charlotte, UNC Charlotte and Central Piedmont Community College.

Tribble, a native of St. Louis, Missouri, earned a B.A. in American Studies, Art History and Arts/Non-Profit Management from Salem College.  She pursued graduate studies in art history at Washington University in St. Louis where she was also a teaching assistant.
