Cultural Project Grants
Overview: Cultural Project Grants increase access to arts, science, history and heritage offerings and strengthen the quality of cultural programming in neighborhoods and towns throughout Mecklenburg County. Click here to view the full program guidelines and frequently asked questions.
Eligibility: Any Mecklenburg County non-profit organization with a project that utilizes arts, science, history or heritage who does not receive an ASC Operating Support grant.
Whats new this year:
- Some projects previously eligible for funding through the Cultural Project Grant program will now need to request funding through the Cultural Festival Grant program.

However, in a continued effort to fund programming that increases access to arts, science, history and heritage programming to and about all cultures, those funds have been redistributed to the Cultural Project, Cultural Festival, and Cultural Innovation Grant programs.
- In lieu of a narrative attachment, this years application includes several open-ended response questions throughout the form. Each of these responses is limited to a maximum word count and includes a spell check option, utilized by clicking the red check mark to the right of the response field. - ASC is committed to helping applicants strengthen their requests for funding. Maximum Grant Amount: $7,500
